Investing in yourself.

Esther Perel says, “The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.”

If you’re wanting better relationships with your friends, family, partner, and yourself, then there is no better investment that one can make.

If you’re tired of the same old relational patterns that keep showing up and want something different for your life, I’d love to help.

 SOME QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

  • Like most specialty providers, I do not participate in any insurance plans. Many insurance plans reimburse sessions with out-of-network providers, and I can provide you with the necessary paperwork. You can also pay with you HSA card.

  • My rate is $180 per 55ish minute session

Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

Note: As of January 1, 2022, per the “No Surprises” Act, this information is required to be posted on our website.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.

  • I currently have a few sliding scale spots available for those who cannot afford my normal rate.

  • This is a casual conversation where we get to know each other a bit.

Some questions that I like to ask during this time include:

    What brings you to therapy?

Have you gone to therapy before? How did that go?

What goals would you like to reach by going to therapy?

You can ask me questions as well. You might be curious about about my approach, what a session will be like etc.

The most important part of the consultation is that you feel I’m a good fit for you. If so, then we can scheule a time to either meet online or in person.

  • We can talk during a 15 minute free phone call to discuss what’s going on and if I can be of service to you.

I reserve a few time slots each day for these phone calls. You can book one directly on the contact me page of my website.

If none of the times listed work with your scheule, send me an email or text message and we can figure out a time that works for best.

  • It's definitely normal to be nervous about starting therapy.

Talking with someone about how we feel can feel overwhelming. And it takes a lot of strength to even begin therapy.

Getting help with someone else to help deal with issues that have been plaguing you takes a lot of courage.

Therefore, I try to make the sessions as easy and free-flowing as possible so that you feel as comfortable as possible, even when talking about difficult topics.

I’m here to chat on the phone during a free consult to help you decide if you’d like to set up a full session.

  • Ideally, we meet weekly to build momentum toward progress.

However, this not always possible for everyone. If that is the case, we can discuss meeting every other week.
